2018-2019 In-Parish School Zone Transfer Request

For the upcoming 2018-2019 school session, a student’s parent/legal guardian will be allowed again to apply for a transfer from their zoned school to another school in the parish depending upon capacity. The transfer request will be reviewed and approved by Superintendent Jenkins and will be approved according to the availability at the requested school.
The deadline for the In-Parish Transfer Request is due at the end of the workday on Thursday, May 31, 2018. The form is available to download here.
NOTE: IN-PARISH TRANSFER REQUEST FORMS MUST BE HAND DELIVERED TO THE CENSUS DEPARTMENT AND SIGNED INDICATING THE FORM HAS BEEN RECEIVED.

SEAFOOD and NUT Free School Policy

SEAFOOD or NUTS are NOT allowed in any St. Landry Parish public school due to "Food Allergies" that can be life threatening.

Seafood (fish and shellfish), or Nuts (all nuts) are not allowed on campus due to severe student "Food Allergies" which can be life threatening.

Drop Off

Buses may begin dropping students off at 7:20 am. Also, all Car Riders and Walkers can be on campus at 7:20 am.

In-School Zone Transfer Requests

A student’s parent/legal guardian may apply for a transfer from his/her residential attendance zone to another grade-level appropriate school in the St. Landry Parish School System. Forms may be acquired from the office or the school board. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child's school or the Child Welfare and Attendance/Census Department at 948-3657 ext. 10260.

JCampus Parent Portal will allow parents to check their child/children's grades online. Letters containing detailed instructions for setting up a user account have been sent home. You can access the parent portal by hovering over the Parents tab..." then clicking on "view my child's grades."
